Universidad de los Andes hosts various tailor-made and faculty-led English language programs throughout the year, including subject areas in health sciences, innovation, humanities, education, technology, economy, Chilean and Latin American culture, et al. For each program, we also offer Spanish language courses for all levels of experience.
Enjoy customized field trips, strengthen your Spanish, and experience Chilean culture firsthand with local students, professors, and special guests!

These types of programs can take place at any time of year on our campus and also feature the following services and amenities:
- Classes taught by UANDES professors
- Cultural outings in Santiago
- Site visits and educational field trips
- Guest lectures by Chilean experts in their respective field
- On-campus activities
- Spanish classes/courses
- Traditional Chilean cuisine
- Arrival and visa assistance
- Welcome kit and orientation day
- Inter/intracity transportation assistance (public and private)
- Farewell activities
- Guided trips to Valparaíso, Cajón del Maipo, the Andes mountains, and other nearby attractions
- Housing advising assistance
- Active and attentive international office
UANDES students can also participate in these courses should the visiting university wish to promote even greater Chilean cultural immersion.
